Dak To Forestry Company (DFC) is headquartered in Kon Tum. It is one among more than two thousand state-owned enterprises which need to be restructured and re-registered under the Enterprise Law before 31 July 2010 (the State-owned Enterprise Law shall expire on the date). In addition to the requirement of re-registering itself under the Enterprise Law, Dak To Forestry Company also aims at a business model and a corporate structure which is oriented towards FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council)certificate. Teaming up in a partnership, Economica Vietnam and NHQuang & Associates offered a full service package for the company under the facilitation of the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ). The package ranges from business analysis, corporate analysis, staff training, restructuring proposal development, and development of FSC-oriented business model, etc. The company has now completed all the procedures needed for re-registration and has also adopted a corporate structure that is favorable for FSC status.
Besides policy analysis, economic research and international development project consultancy, consulting to the corporate sector, especially in strategic management, corporate governance, corporate restructuring are the core services offered by Economica Vietnam.
