Key projects and works which Economica have implemented are the followings:  

• SME White Book, SME Annual Report, Review of the Quality of Private Sector SMEs, Review of the Legal Framework for Better Performance of SMEs, etc.
• Case studies, sector review on microfinance, labor market, informal sector, social insurance, etc.
• Local economic governance, local economic development.
• Impact of the global economic crisis on labor market and HRD policy implemented by APEC member countries for the APEC Secretariat.
• Policy and policy implementation to counter the fall in FDI and labor demand in selected provinces for ILO and OECD.
• Study on private sector, SME, households business, SOE and FDI enterprises and the policy towards these economic actors, e.g. the study on private sector SMEs for the Central Institute of Economic Management and UNDP.
• Study and researches on business environment, economic governance, local economic development, investment climate, small enterprise, regulatory framework for business in Vietnam with support from different national and international agencies, e.g. GTZ, DANIDA, UNIDO, ILO
• Business environment and investment climate, especially on such topic as business start up, business licensing, investment procedures under the different initiatives by GTZ, IFC/MPDF, UNDP, EU and VNCI.
• Study on labor and human resource development policy and implementation at provincial level for USAID/VNCI and ILO.
• Regulatory reviews of administrative procedures in Vietnam and application of standard cost model (SCM) for policy analysis under the framework of the IFC Business Licensing Reform Project.
• Carry out Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) for a wide range of laws and legal documents in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and under different donor projects, e.g. EU’s Vietnam Private Sector Support Programme, GTZ SME Development Program.
• Study on Vietnamese business associations and strategy to strengthen their capacity for VCCI and MUTRAP III/ Eurocham.
• Study on provincial business environment, provincial competitiveness analysis for selected provinces, e.g. Dak Nong, Quang Nam, Hung Yen, An Giang and Dak Lak.
• Provincial economic governance and provincial competitiveness under the initiative of The Asia Foundation, VNCI, GTZ, and EU Vietnam Private Sector Support Programme.
